HMRC required a new development-centre that embraced an xAAS-approach.
Our consultants leveraged the existing IaaS Fujitsu-Private-Cloud and Cap-Gemini’s Integration/Deployment platform (PaaS) for deploying/hosting Digital-Services.
Once HMRC had developed an in-house AWS-Cloud-platform (PaaS) we migrated all existing services, service-development/testing/deployment & environments across in four-weeks. We then extended the in-house PaaS to take advantages of AWS’s other PaaS offerings including: S3, RDS, EC2, EBS, VPCs and introduced Terraform & Ansible.
In addition, we designed/developed/deployed/supported MDG’s first SaaS offering by creating a File Transfer Service; available to all HMRC Delivery Groups for internal & external movement of files.
