Our team managed eight delivery workstreams for the technically/politically-complex Border-Systems-Programme at HMRC:
-Managed multiple-cross-dependencies; multiple-supplier-delivery-teams; conflicting-technologies; fluid-requirements/agreed-solutions; unknown-overlaps/gaps/conflicts.
-Analysed business-processes establishing user-journeys/personas; through interviews/workshops with: policy-team, users (internal/external), administrators and senior-management.
-Created cross-project-‘to-be’-model establishing agreed project/technical-boundaries; identifying key-overlaps/gaps/conflicts; agreeing consensus-based-solutions/mitigations.
-Coordinated complex-multi-supplier re-architecting/design/development : internal/external (Accenture/Cap-Gemini/Equal-Experts/Fujitsu/IBM); sharing solution-designs/best-practises with other-suppliers.
-Managed stakeholder-engagement with NGOs; including Community-Service-Providers, who represent 1000s of individual-stakeholders in complex-customs-processes.
-Maintained stakeholder-engagement with multi-external-interfaces: Border-Force/DEFRA/DIT/DWP/Home-Office.
-Maintained senior-stakeholder relationships; including briefings to Director-of-EU-Exit-Programmes for Select-Committee-Hearings.
-Facilitated iterative Design/development process incorporating regular feedback from stakeholders into revised/enhanced requirements. Final live solutions facilitated closure of multiple legacy systems/databases.
